Topic:
Specifications and Data Access Patterns
Abstract:
Most .NET apps require data access, but there are many different ways to do it, and each involves tradeoffs. In this code-heavy session, Steve will demonstrate a variety of different patterns for implementing data access. Along the way, he’ll identify problems that teams typically encounter with each pattern, and other tradeoffs. By the end of this session, you’ll likely have seen your current data access strategy, along with a variety of possible alternatives you could consider that might alleviate point points you’re experiencing.
