What’s New in Xamarin.Forms 4.0!

Abstract:
Shells! Visual! Navigation! Custom Renderers! Oh my – come see the latest and greatest coming in Xamarin.Forms 4.0 for mobile developers. We will take a closer look at the newest developments from the Xamarin team and how we can use them to quickly craft a fully featured, cross-platform, mobile application from scratch. Using Shell, we can build out our presentation layer using MVVM with built-in navigation and deep-linking. With Visual, we can quickly adopt an application-wide design language, like Material or Fluent, in a single line of code. Have your own design language? Leverage the Visual component with custom renderers to bedazzle your app. Xamarin.Forms 4.0 is here to make developers more successful – come see how.

Speaker Bio:
Steve Bilogan is currently a Senior Consultant @ Improving working on a variety of .NET solutions. Steve’s main passion is in mobile development that started back home in Canada where he worked as a mobile engineer in Montreal building Android and iOS apps using Xamarin, as well as working on the early stages of the Uno platform.
