Let’s 3D Print our next IoT Device!
Do you have a great idea for a new device but don’t know where to start? Want to know how you can make your own designs, print them, and use Azure to connect it all? In this talk, Christopher will show his Attendance box, used by Capital University, and show how it was developed completely in house.
You’ll learn where to find reliable, affordable 3D printing in your area, how to use a Raspberry Pi to power your IoT (Internet of Things) device, and how to setup Azure to connect it all together. With a combination of creative and technical topics, join Christopher for an overview of the entire process of prototyping and creating a custom solution to fit your needs.
Christopher is a Web & Windows Developer, husband, father, gamer, and owner of Jem Systems, LLC. He proudly works at Capital University and has a passion for making people’s lives better by using his skills in web development! He is an innovator who looks for new ways around problems and scenarios. Christopher loves “playing with code” and believes that making fun, wacky, and unexpected programs is a great way to exercise creativity and learn new skills. He enjoys teaching others new skills and learning from them in return. Connect at @csauer.
