Chocolate and mint lip balm recipe
You can use chocolate chips to make a delicious lip balm at home. Just ensure that you use high quality chocolate chips for you to get the best results that you need. To make this DIY lip balm at home you will need 2 teaspoons white beeswax pellets, a teaspoon of cocoa powder, 2 teaspoons of sweet almond oil, and some drops of peppermint oil.
You will start by melting the white beeswax pellets. You will then stir the cocoa powder until it blends perfectly. Add sweet almond oil and peppermint oil as you stir to mix the ingredients.
Honey lip balm
Honey is known to have several health benefits and would thus make a good recipe for a lip balm. Besides, it also has a sweet flavor that can go a long way at ensuring that you enjoy a great day after application.
This ingredient doesn’t require much mixing as it can simply be mixed with melted white beeswax and applied directly to the lips.
Beeswax and coconut lip balm
You will need a tablespoon of beeswax, preferably grated. You will also need a tablespoon of extra virgin coconut oil and at least two capsules of vitamin E. Melt the beeswax and when it is almost viscous, add coconut oil. Blend these ingredients together and then add 2 capsules of vitamin E oil. Allow it to cool and then you can pour into a lip balm applier so you can use to apply lip balm whenever your lips dry.

Raspberry and lemon lip balm
In this DIY made at home raspberry and lemon lip balm you will need to have 2 teaspoons raspberry gelatin mix, 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil and 3-4 drops of lemon oil. Heat the solid coconut oil preferably in the microwave then add raspberry gelatin mix and then blend the 2 ingredients together. Add lemon essential oil in the mixture and mix properly until properly bended.
Pure essential oil lip balm
You will need a cup of mango or cocoa butter (1/4), wax or soy, several drops of essential oil and a tablespoon of beetroot powder.
If you are using beeswax, melt it and then add mango butter to the wax and then blend. Add an essential oil such as grapefruit or even peppermint. Add a small amount of beet root powder to give color then stir until no lumps are left in the mixture.
Rose lip balm
To achieve this made at home lip balm mixture you will need 1 tablespoon beeswax, 1\2 tablespoon castor oil, 3 tablespoons rose-infused oil, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon of cocoa butter and a quarter teaspoon powdered alkanet root.
Peppermint oil lip balm
You will need 1 tablespoon coconut oil, 1 tablespoon white beeswax pellets, 1 tablespoon sweet almond oil and 2 drops of peppermint essential oil.
Melt the wax in a boiler and then add coconut oil and sweet almond oil. Stir the ingredients as you add peppermint essential oil in the mixture. Allow the mixture to cool down and store for use later.
Shea butter home-made lip balm oil
In this DIY home-made lip balm oil you will need 1 tablespoon Shea butter, 1 tablespoon beeswax, 1 tablespoon raw organic coconut oil, 1 tablespoon natural honey and 4-5 drops of essential lemon oil.
To get the product ready you will mix Shea butter, beeswax and coconut oil to a container and then boil. Once the mixture is melted, you then whisk natural honey and your essential oil mixture and then allow it to cool.
Lime lip balm
The ingredients here include 1 tablespoon coconut oil, 1 tablespoon cocoa butter, 1 tablespoon almond oil, 1 tablespoon beeswax and 5 drops of lime essential oil.
To get the home-made lime lip balm, you will add cocoa butter, coconut oil, beeswax, and almond oil to make a solution.
Grapefruit lip balm
You will need 1 tablespoon castor oil, 1 tablespoon Shea butter, 2 tablespoons coconut oil, ¼ – ½ teaspoon grapefruit essential oil.
Heat the Shea butter, beeswax, coconut oil and castor oil together in low heat preferably in a saucepan. Once you have removed the pan from heat, you can add grapefruit essential oil and mix this well.
